TEC Civil Engineering Consultants of Reno will occasionally offer internships and career opportunities withing our company. We are presently seeking candidates for the following positions:
Civil Engineering Intern
Job Description:
- Support and work with upper level staff to complete project components
- Research project information in house and at various governmental agencies
- Perform administrative tasks related to project completion, including submittals to jurisdictions, utilities, subconsultants, etc
- Use AutoCAD / Softdesk software to prepare exhibits, general drafting, and civil designs
- Field work may include percolation testing, construction observation and field measurements
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Pursuing a career in Land Development Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office software applications a plus
- Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management
- Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure
